What We Do
199Trust creates NFA Gun Trust documents and provides support through personal “human” support and AI chat. We’re not a law firm – we prepare documents based on your instructions, not legal advice. For legal guidance, consult a licensed attorney in your state.

199Trust is a private document preparation service. We are NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to:
- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF)
- Any federal, state, or local government agency
- Any law enforcement organization
We are an independent business that helps customers create their own Trust documents. We have no special relationship with government agencies.
What We Collect
From You:
- Name, email, phone
- Trust details (Settlor, Trust name, location, Co-Trustees, Beneficiaries, Successor Trustee)
- Your questions and support messages
Automatically:
- Chat conversations with our AI
- Website usage (pages visited, forms submitted)
- Technical data (browser, IP address, device type)
How We Use It
- Create your trust documents
- Answer your questions via AI chat (personalized using your Trust info)
- Send you your documents and important updates
- Improve our service (analyzing support patterns, not individual data)
Smart Chat Links
When you click a support link from our emails (like ?c=abc123):
- That code is unique to you – gives our AI access to YOUR trust info only
- It’s randomly generated and can’t be guessed or reverse-engineered
- Lets you pick up conversations where you left off
- Never expires – return anytime
- Nobody else can access your data through it
Think of it like a secure password built into the link.
QR Code Service
When you submit a Trust for QR codes:
- We extract basic info (Settlor, Trust name, location, parties)
- Generate QR codes (PNG, SVG, PDF sheet) that link to your secure view page
- Store your Trust document (and any Tax Stamps/Supporting documents on our server.)
- Create a permanent view page where you can access/download everything
- You control it: Delete anytime via the Delete button (permanent, can’t be undone)
The QR codes only contain a link – no sensitive data.
What We Store (Forever)
- Chat history – Your conversations with our AI (contains only Trust form data and support email data if available)
- QR view pages – If you use the QR service (Trust PDF, additional attachments, future manual additions, QR codes, metadata)
- IMPORTANT NOTE* OUR QR TRUST SERVICE IS ONLY MEANT FOR NFA-RELATED BUSINESS AND DOCUMENTS. IF IT IS BEING ABUSED OR USED WRONGFULLY, SUCH AS FOR STORING UNRELATED PHOTOS AND DOCUMENTS, THE QR AND FILES ARE SUBJECT TO DELETION WITHOUT WARNING.
What we DON’T store:
- ✗ Credit card numbers (Square securely handles payments, 199Trust NEVER sees your credit card number)
- ✗ Social security numbers, financial data (we don’t ask for them)
Important: If you upload a document containing sensitive data (SSN, bank info, etc.), that’s in your file. Our system doesn’t scan for or extract that data, but it’s there if YOU included it. Redact sensitive info before uploading if concerned.
Security
- ✓ Encrypted storage
- ✓ Unique access codes (can’t be guessed)
- ✓ Isolated data (your info never mixed with others)
- ✓ Limited team access (only authorized 199Trust staff)
What We DON’T Do:
- ✗ We do NOT meet HIPAA standards
- ✗ We do NOT share data with other customers
- ✗ We do NOT sell your information
Your Rights
- Access: Get a copy of your data
- Deletion: Remove your data (within 30 days)
- Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing (you’ll still get trust documents)

For total data purge: Put “PURGE MY DATA” in subject line – we’ll remove everything including emails, backups, etc.
AI Features
Clanka (Chatbot):
- Uses your trust info to help you
- Only accesses YOUR data via your unique link
- Stores conversation history for continuity
- Sometimes makes mistakes – always verify important info
Email AI:
- Reads support emails to generate responses
- Flags urgent issues for human review
- May send automated replies for common questions
- Your emails are never shared with others
We Share Data Only When:
- Required by law or court order
- A Dealer is placing the order/advocating on behalf of their Customer (Dealer sent Trust)
- You give written permission
- Emergency (fraud, safety threat)
- 199Trust is sold (data transfers to the new owner)
Primary Third-Party Services
We use: Groq AI (chatbot) (this is not GROK by x.ai!), Gmail (email), Wufoo (forms), Square (payments)
Each has its own privacy policy.
Cookies
We use cookies for: login, chat continuity, site analytics
You can disable them, but some features won’t work.
Changes
We’ll update this policy as needed and notify you via email for major changes.
Legal Stuff
- No Warranties: Service provided “AS IS” – we don’t guarantee perfection.
- Our Liability: Limited to what you paid us.
- AI Accuracy: Our ‘Clanka’ tries hard but may give wrong answers – always verify.
- Age Requirement: 18+ only.
State Rights:
- California (CCPA): Right to know, delete, opt-out
- Nevada: Can confirm we don’t sell data
- EU (GDPR): Additional rights including data portability
